Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Hello friends, who out there is hosting Thanksgiving this year?

I love to host Thanksgiving at my home, but this year we are still in the middle of a full remodel so no hosting for me. Still, I wanted to do a tablescape for my little table at the apartment.

I know food is the most important part of hosting your gathering but having a beautiful table is pretty high on the list as well. A Thankgiving centerpiece makes for a stunning table.

Here is what I came up with. It was a bit of a challenge because most of my Thanksgiving decor is in storage.

Table Runners are Important

I believe one of the most important pieces to a Thanksgiving tablescape is the table runner. It’s a great base to start your theme. I had two and I thought why not use both. So I layered them.

I got these beautiful dinner plates from Pier1 last year. The salad plates are from HomeGoods. Also, I bought the wine glasses and napkins from HomeGoods. I think the splash of gold on the wineglasses adds a bit of class to the table. I’ve linked some similar items here below.

I didn’t have time to make these but having nametags or “Thankful Cards” at each place setting makes for a great family bonding experience. Have a piece of decorative paper at each place setting where your guests can write down what they are thankful for and then share with the family.

I loved putting together this simple tablescape. It’s easy to add some candles and fresh greenery to make any table look beautiful. The white pumpkins and mixed greens really added some great texture to the tablescape. Pairing these white pumpkins with some gold makes the whole table look amazing.

We may not eat at this table this Thanksgiving but it will still look pretty for a week or so.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, spending time with family and friends. Enjoy each other’s company and cherish every minute of it.
