Adding a Little Spring to your Home Decor

March is almost here, and it’s the perfect time for a little refresh! Bringing a touch of spring into your home decor is all about light, freshness, and a hint of nature! Spring is all about renewal, freshness, and light, so bringing that energy into your home can make your space feel vibrant and uplifting. Personally, it puts me in such a fantastic mood.

Fresh Florals & Greenery Everywhere

Spring is the perfect time to fill your home with flowers and plants—whether fresh or faux!

Place a vase of fresh tulips, daffodils, or cherry blossoms on your entryway table to welcome your guests. Add a potted herb garden (basil, mint, or rosemary) to your windowsill. Hang a floral wreath on your front door. I found this beautiful tulip wreath on Amazon.

Lighten Up Your Color Palette

Winter decor tends to be rich and moody, but spring calls for soft, airy, and cheerful colors. Swap dark throw pillows for pastel shades like blush pink, sage green, sky blue, or butter yellow. This is an easy and inexpensive way to change up your decor. Change heavy winter blankets to lightweight linen or cotton throws.

Makeover Your Outdoor Space

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your balcony, patio, or front porch. Add potted plants like daisies, petunias, or hydrangeas. Use colorful outdoor pillows on your patio furniture. Add an outdoor rug to make the space feel cozy and inviting.

If you have a front porch, place a wreath, a welcome mat, and potted flowers to create a fresh spring welcome.

Refresh Your Kitchen & Dining Area

Since we spend so much time in the kitchen, small spring updates can make such a big impact. Use pastel or floral dish towels to replace heavier, wintery ones. I will also change the towels in my guest bathroom.

Here are a couple of my spring time tablescapes.Try a light floral table runner for an effortless springtime touch. Arrange a simple yet elegant centerpiece with fresh flowers and candles.

Infuse Springtime Scents

Spring isn’t just about how your home looks—it’s also about how it smells!

I’m a sucker for candles and defusers to add aromas like fresh linen, lemon, lavender, or jasmine. I love my Pura and all the amazing scents you can get. I highly recommend getting one if you haven’t tried a Pura. They are also great for gifts. Pura Linked Here

I love to add faux flowers to my powder bath along with my most favorite Jo Malone scent, English Pear and Freesia

You could also try a Simmer pot with lemon slices, rosemary, and vanilla for a natural home fragrance. These pots smell incredible!

Create a Spring-Inspired Bedroom Retreat

Your bedroom should feel light, fresh, and relaxing for spring. Switch out heavy winter bedding for crisp white sheets, floral duvets, or pastel throws. Add light and airy curtains to create a breezy, dreamy look. Here is my recent update on bedding for my bedroom. I purchased this duvet at Target. Linked Here

One of my favorite things is using lavender or citrus-scented diffusers to bring a subtle seasonal fragrance into the room. My husband and I love the lavender scent in our room. It brings a feeling of calm to the end of a hectic day.

Spring is all about renewal! Refresh your home by decluttering and creating airy, open spaces. Put away winter decor and embrace a lighter, more minimalistic look. I’m still working on this! LOL

Spring is all about bringing life and energy into your home—a few small changes can make a huge difference!

Happy Almost Spring!! Cheers, Stephanie
