12 Nights of Christmas Cocktails

HO HO HO! Happy Holidays! The holiday season is an excellent time to try out some new cocktail recipes. I’ve put together some of my favorites and wanted to share them.

Night One~Eggnog Martini 

Eggnog Martini Christmas cocktails

  • 3 oz eggnog
  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz ameretto liqueur

Fill shaker with ice, add all ingredients.
Shake well and add to a martini glass
Rim martini glass with crushed gram crackers
Garnish with a dash of nutmeg

Night Two ~Peppermint Martini

  • 1 oz white chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Peppermint Rum Chata
  • 1 oz half-and-half
  • 1 tsp grenadine

Fill shaker with ice, add all ingredients and shake.
Add to the martini glass.
Rim martini glass with a crushed candy cane and/or garnish with a small candy cane

Night Three ~Gingerbread White Russian

Gingerbread White Russian as one of Christmas cocktails

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 2 oz gingerbread syrup
  • 2 oz heavy cream
  • Cinnamon sticks and gingerbread cookies for garnish

Add everything to a shaker, and shake with ice. Pour over a garnished glass with ice.

Gingerbread Syrup

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn the heat to simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Let cool. Store in the fridge in a container with a lid. The syrup should last for about two weeks refrigerated.

Night Four~ Christmas Cosmo

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz pomegranate-cranberry juice blend
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed

Shake in a shaker with ice. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

Night Five~ Holiday Gin Fizz

Holiday Gin Fizz

Back by popular demand! This is such a pretty and boozy holiday cocktail to make! I love the color, and it’s delicious!

  • 2 oz Empress Gin 1908
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz chilled cranberry simple syrup
  • 1 egg white (pasteurized, if desired)
  • 3-4 drops orange bitters
  • 2 ounces chilled club soda
  • Cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish

Combine the gin, lemon juice, chilled cranberry simple syrup, egg white, and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker. Cover, and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.

Open shaker, add a handful of ice, shake vigorously again for 15 seconds.
Top off with the club soda, and garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprigs, if desired.

Holiday Gin Fizz, gin, and cherries

Cranberry Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Add the cranberries, sugar, and water to a medium pot. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and cranberries have burst.
Strain and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Boozy Holiday Cocktails

Night Six~ Chai Espresso Martini

Chai Espresso Martini as one of the Christmas cocktails you can serve

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1/2 oz coffee liqueur (usually Kahlúa)
  • 1 shot of espresso, freshly brewed (or cold brew)
  • 1/2 oz Irish cream (Baileys) This may make it a bit sweet if you’re not into sweet, add more Kahlua instead.
  • 1 scoop Chai Tea Mix

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, pour into a martini glass, and then top with lemon zest or coffee beans or a mint sprig.

Adding a little lemon zest to the top of this delicious drink is the perfect finish for this cocktail.

Night Seven~ Pumpkin Pie Martini

Pumpkin pie martini as one of the Christmas cocktails you can serve

  • 1 oz cream liqueur such as Baileys Irish Cream
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • ½ oz pumpkin liqueur
  • 1 tsp. whipped cream
  • Cinnamon stick and ground nutmeg for garnish

Pour cream liqueur and vodka into a shaker of ice and shake well.
Add the pumpkin liqueur. Shake again.
Strain into a chilled martini glass. Then top with a teaspoon of whipped cream.
Add a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of nutmeg for garnish.

Night Eight~ White Christmas Cranberry Cocktail

White Christmas Cranberry Cocktail as one of the Christmas cocktails you can serve

  • 3 oz. white cranberry juice
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 ½ oz silver tequila
  • Salt for rimming
  • Lime slices
  • Rosemary and fresh cranberries for garnish

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Pour into salted rim glass and garnish with cranberries. You can drink this on the rocks or not.

Night Nine~ Apple Cider Mimosa

This one is delicious and super easy for Christmas morning.

  • 1 oz Apple Cider
  • Prosecco

Add Cider to the glass top with prosecco garnish with rosemary sprig.

Night Ten~ Mistletoe Mule

  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice
  • Ginger beer for topping
  • Ice

Add all ingredients to the copper cup. Garnish with Pomegranate seeds or Cranberries

Night Eleven~ Cranberry Mimosa

  • 1 lime, halved
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. sweetened cranberry juice
  • 1 bottle champagne/Prosecco
  • 12 fresh cranberries
  • 4 small sprigs of fresh rosemary

Rim champagne flutes with lime and dip in sugar. Pour a splash of cranberry juice into each glass and then top with champagne/Prosecco.
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and also a couple of cranberries.

Night Twelve~ Sugar Cookie Martini

This is a Christmas martini for those who have a sweet tooth! Its creamy with a hint of dessert, all in one glass.

  • 1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz Irish cream
  • 2 oz Half & Half
  • 1 oz amaretto
  • Vanilla frosting and sprinkles for rimming the glass.

Combine the vanilla vodka, Irish cream, milk, amaretto, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake to chill.
